ReMark acquires Ivaldi, a web app development company based in Rotterdam
ReMark is excited to announce the acquisition of Ivaldi, a successful Dutch web company specialised in building full-stack internet applications, effective since 1 October 2021.
Investing in successful tech firms
This acquisition is the latest in a number of strategic investments ReMark has made in successful software companies. In recent years the Group has bought majority stakes in ESG Direct and SCOR Telemed, founded InsurTech firms such as BeeTech in China, and invested over $2 million in early-stage tech start-ups. These have enabled ReMark to better help clients through their digital transformation, with a full suite of software solutions that now cover the full customer journey, including sales, underwriting, claims, policy admin, customer engagement and more.
This acquisition is another great example of ReMark’s transformation from a direct marketing company to a true insurtech player. An essential part of the SCOR offering, ReMark continues to create value and impact, working with clients to build solutions that create a wonderful consumer experience.

Boosting our in-house development capacity
Ivaldi brings a wealth of custom full-stack web development experience, with over 330 successful projects across 100 clients since 2007. Partnering with universities and well-known in the open-source and Ruby on Rails communities, Ivaldi has worked with some of the largest companies in Europe like PepsiCo and MVGM to develop web apps, platforms and landing pages. Their team of developers, programmers and IT experts will be fully incorporated into ReMark’s global Software and Solutions department.

With this latest move in ReMark’s Journey to InsurTech, the company now grows to 17 offices and nearly 250 staff worldwide—a company record—with expertise in insurance marketing, data analytics, design, software development and more.
