The role

As a QA Tester, you will play an essential role in maintaining a framework for testing functionalities and ensuring the quality of new developments.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software development teams across the company to uphold software quality.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the quality of our digital insurance solutions.
  • Engage with Product Managers and team leads to foster an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Support for Software Development Teams:

  • Conduct quality assessments on newly developed functionalities.
  • Provide well-structured feedback to development teams for quality enhancement.

Quality Monitoring:

  • Develop and implement a testing framework to consistently evaluate the health and quality of our digital solutions.
  • Promote software quality awareness and best practices across the company.
  • Oversee and manage the internal process for quality assurance.

Collaboration and Advice:

  • Offer strategic insights for long-term quality advancement.
  • Design testing scenarios in collaboration with development teams to ensure quality is built into our solutions from inception.

Technical/Essential competencies

  • Testing Techniques: Experience with various types of testing such as manual testing, automated testing, performance testing, security testing, and usability testing.
  • Quality Advocacy: Promoting a culture of quality within the development team and the broader organization.
  • Risk Management: Skillful at identifying risk areas early in the process, thereby allowing for timely mitigation strategies.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding the end-user perspective to ensure that the product meets their needs and expectations.

Personal competencies/Nice to have

  • Enthusiastic.

Required education/Work experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
