The Role
As Business Developer you are responsible for new business development including growing ReMark’s client base, increasing digital technology revenue streams, and securing partnerships to expand ReMark’s footprint in the health & wellness, technology, and insurance space.
Key responsibilities
- Support the strategic direction and profitable growth of ReMark’s new technology/digital initiatives in Iberia.
- Expand ReMark through health & wellness, innovation, technology, and insurance industry partnerships.
- Build ReMark’s new brand presence and profile throughout the region – aspire to be on shortlist for all major business opportunities.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement ReMark sales and marketing plan to meet company growth objectives.
- Manage strategic partnerships that increase ReMark’s technology capabilities.
- Manage key client accounts and support their development and continuous improvement.
- Participate in key industry conferences, associations, and events to increase ReMark’s brand awareness and identify partnership prospects/clients.
- Monitor the consumer, competitive, Insurtech, health & wellness, and technology landscape, identifying new opportunities/threats and benchmarking our offer.
- Collaborate with other internal teams in Marketing, Communication, IT, Content and Data to create, implement and optimize new client initiatives.
Technical/Essential competencies
- 4+ years of experience selling or working in the technology, health, and wellness, or insurance industry together with projects.
- A strong experience in business development to prospect and qualify leads, assess opportunities and identify client needs, and networking skills.
- Ability to manage the complete sales process from initial contact through contract negotiations, operational implementation, and onboarding
- Look for new and productive ways to make an impact, entrepreneurial
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry, different client needs, and new ways of conducting business
- Consultative selling experience, versed in selling solutions that solve problems
- Have a passion for the client experience and developing solutions for today’s consumer.
Personal competencies/Nice to have
- Strong business development skills and abilities.
- Other European languages: Portuguese, Italian, French.
Required education/Work experience
- Role-specific Degree or Qualifications (min level).
